Manufactured in Low Smoke and Fume, Halogen Free material with excellent UV, ozone and weathering resistance.
It should be noted that although the addition of a shroud may aid the process of keeping the surface of the cable gland free from the build up of dust or dirt, this does not necessarily improve the Ingress Protection rating of the installed cable gland. Generally cable glands are tested for ingress protection without a shroud being present. In certain conditions the addition of a shroud or other form of external covering may retain unwanted moisture creating a greater threat of penetration than that which it is intended to prevent.
Alternative colours including Red, Blue and White are available to suit a wide variety of customer requirements, other colours are available on request.
